Will Rainbow Six (6) Mobile feature Crossplay and Controller Support ?
Yes it is confirmed that Rainbow Six (6) will be coming to Mobile competing against other top mobile fps games.
The difference is that Rainbow Six (6) Mobile is not a regular FPS game that we've come to expect as it's mechanics stand out compared to others.
However the big question is - will Rainbow Six (6) mobile feature crossplay or even have controller support ? and how early could we expect it to be implemented.

Is Crossplay coming to Rainbow Six (6) Mobile ?
Rainbow Six (6) Mobile is expected to become one of the most; if not the most popular and competitive FPS titles for the "mobile gaming" community expecting players to queue up against each other no matter the platform they decide to use.
Cross-play has grown in popularity ever since the age of the internet being able to transfer data.
We are far from the days when games are limited to only the device they are developed for, - Growing and Becoming the industry standard for online multiplayer games.

Gaming has become more connected and Ubisoft - Rainbow Six (6) Mobile has made speculations that they will be joining in on developing further on this.
The Creative Director for Ubisoft Rainbow Six (6) Mobile project, has mentioned the possibility of introducing Crossplay will not be ruled out.
Cross-play will be available for Ubisoft's Rainbow Six (6) Mobile on Android and iOS devices, allowing those on the mobile platform to be able to team up and compete against each other.
Even though crossplay features will be available across all mobile devices, we may eventually see the introduction of crossplay expanding to PC and Console users as well - mentioned by the Creative Director.

Will Rainbow Six (6) Mobile have Controller Support?
Rainbow Six (6) Mobile - will have it's ability in game for a customizable touch layout with multiple options to choose from including Swipe Gestures, Button Press and Tap Configurations.
Even despite all these additions mentioned, many players look to the possibility of Rainbow Six (6) Mobile introducing Controller Support giving players more options to choose from - if they want to stray away from the natural in game built features.
With the increasing developements of mobile tactical FPS games - it is expected to see Controller Support rise in popularity as PC and Console players transition to the mobile platform.
It is a big prediction to expect PC and Console players to leave behind their accustomed way of gaming - however, eventually this will happen despite the mobile gaming community being overlooked at the moment.

Insider sources suggest a release date for Alpha Test to be close to - Late April to Early May. With a Ramped up effort for a Global Release at the End of Q4 of this year.
